Annal Ambedkar Business Championship Scheme (AABCS)
The Annal Ambedkar Business Championship Scheme (AABCS) is an initiative of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. It is designed to promote entrepreneurship among members of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities by offering higher subsidies and financial assistance to strengthen their business prospects.
Empowering SC/ST entrepreneurs with up to 35% subsidy and full financial support to start or expand businesses.
AABCS provides strong financial backing by covering 65% of the project cost through bank loans and 35% as subsidy. The scheme removes the burden of personal contribution, enabling SC/ST entrepreneurs to confidently start or expand ventures in manufacturing, services, or trading.

Eligibility
- Age: 18–55 years
- No minimum education qualification required
- SC/ST entrepreneurs starting or expanding manufacturing, service, or trading enterprises
- All Partners, Directors in PVT. LTD must belong to SC/ ST Community
Financial Assistance
- No ceiling on project cost
- Subsidy: 35% of the eligible project cost
- Maximum subsidy: ₹100 lakhs (Manufacturing), ₹75 lakhs (service), and ₹50 lakhs (Trading)
- 6% interest subvention on term loan up to 10 years
- 6% interest subvention on working capital loan up to 2 years.
