
The Tamil Nadu Women Entrepreneurship Empowerment Scheme (TWEES) is an initiative of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. It is designed to encourage women entrepreneurs by providing financial support, subsidies, and skill training (provided after loan sanction) to help them establish and grow enterprises across manufacturing, services, and trading sectors. The scheme is yet to be officially launched.

TWEES aims to remove financial barriers for women by providing bank loans covering up to 95% of the project cost, along with a subsidy of up to ₹2 lakhs. Beneficiaries will also receive entrepreneurship training to build their skills and confidence as entrepreneurs.
