Eligibility Restrictions
The following applicants are not eligible to avail benefits under the schemes offered by DIC Coimbatore. Please review carefully before proceeding.
From UYEGP documents:
- Applicants who have previously availed loan/subsidy under any other State/Central Government scheme are not eligible
From TWEES documents:
- Applicants who have previously availed subsidy under any other State/Central Government scheme are not eligible
From NEEDS documents:
- Existing units are not eligible, only new units promoted by first generation entrepreneurs are eligible
- Partnership concerns where not all members are first generation entrepreneurs are not eligible
From PMEGP documents:
- Meat processing, intoxicants, tobacco, liquor serving units are not eligible
- Activities prohibited by Local Government are not eligible
- Polythene bags below 75 microns are not eligible
- Direct agricultural activities like cultivation, plantation, animal husbandry are not eligible (with exceptions)
From KKT documents:
- Applicants who have availed subsidy greater than Rs. 1.50 lakhs under Tamil Nadu Government schemes in the last 5 years are not eligible (with exceptions)
From PMFME documents:
- Only one person per family is eligible, if one family member has applied, others are not eligible
- No support for opening retail outlets
- Businesses not registered under Udyam or any recognized legal entity are not eligible.
- Enterprises involved only in trading or retail, without value addition or services, are excluded.
- Units operating in non-designated zones, unauthorized lands, or residential/commercial properties not approved for industrial use are disqualified.
- Entities lacking necessary statutory clearances (pollution, fire, building, labor licenses, etc.) are not eligible.
- Projects without a sanctioned term loan from a recognized bank or financial institution are not considered.
- Inactive or defunct businesses without proof of operation in the last 12 months are not eligible.
- Applications with incomplete or fraudulent documentation are rejected.
- Applicants without Aadhaar, PAN, or an active bank account are not eligible.
- Enterprises providing false or inflated project details are disqualified.
- Units failing to generate minimum employment as required by certain schemes lose eligibility.
- Projects that do not start operations within the approved time frame after sanction are disqualified.
- Applicants unable to show their minimum promoter contribution (usually 10–15%) are excluded.
- Submitting duplicate applications across districts or departments leads to disqualification.
- Units belonging to non-priority sectors as per the current year’s policy are not eligible.
